We recently took a trip down to Lae, a city on the coast of about 70,000 in the urban area. The scenery on the way was beautiful as we left the highlands and traveled down to the coast.
While we were there we ventured
to the big market in town
where you can get coconuts, bananas (by the stalk), peanuts (roasted or fresh), any other fruit or vegetable you like and if you're hankering for them even bat and grubs. We went to visit a family who we went to POC with. They are working with the Reform church in Lae.
