Happy Mother's Day

Daddy and I took Mummy out for breakfast for Mother's Day to the Madang Lodge, after eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, passionfruit juice and coffee we went for a swim in a beautiful pool right next to the ocean.Mama bilong mi em i nambawan! (my mummy is number one)

Running water!
We catch rain water from our roof in this large water tank. We use it
for bathing, drinking, washing and whatever else you use water for.
Last week I had to fix the small water tank on top of the roof that
gives us our water pressure, so we were out of running water for about
3 days. You don't realize how much you take running water for granted
until it is not there. A lot of my neighbors don't have this luxury...
