Sunday afternoon at the Abbey

We spent this afternoon at the Mission Abbey with the Hieberts (Heidi's mom's family). We wandered down a wooded path that led to an amazing lookout over the Fraser Valley.

other adventurers

Paychecks

I was able to get a job framing for here in Abbotsford for two weeks. It was good experience as I was placed in charge of different stages of a couple houses. Yesterday was my last day and also payday, the last paycheck we will recieve. It's a scary and exciting thought, scary when I think about not being able to provide for us myself, but exciting knowing that God always writes the "paychecks" in His perfect timing and has never let be in want.
And so the Journey has begun!

our lil' nephew

Yesterday we had the joy of meeting our first nephew, sylas leon nellis. We are "Uncle Paul & Auntie Heidi" for the first time! Sylas was 4 days old, and is a beautiful baby. We look forward to watching him grow up into a little boy, and can't wait to spend more time with him in the future.
